Our Mission

Studies have shown that families with autistic children bear a greater financial and emotional burden due to the special needs of their children. Sadly, not all children with autism grow up in a positive environment as shown by well-documented incidents of neglect, abuse, and bullying.

At Autism Meets Faith, we assist the most vulnerable children on the autism spectrum by providing grants, parental education, community awareness & acceptance events. We offer limited financial assistance for Therapy, school supplies, educational & sensory-friendly resources, and other essential needs.

Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis based on available resources.

A word from our founder

Our passion for autistic children is rooted in deep personal experience. When my daughter was diagnosed with autism at the age of four we did not know what to expect as a family. There was a lot of information out there but none was personalized for a working mother of four children. The challenges were real and the expenses kept piling up. Through prayer and hard work, we were able to put her through a series of early intervention therapy, and my husband and I slowly adapted to being "autism" parents.

We resolved to assist other parents with children on the spectrum to cross the many hurdles and difficulties we went through. Besides the emotional and psychological toll of raising an autistic child, the expenses can be overwhelming especially for low-income families.

Autism Meets Faith is an organization driven by compassion for the children and families we serve. Thank you for partnering with us to make this dream a reality.
